The funniest part is he wasn't the villain he was actually trying to find a way to protect humans without the help of godzilla or kong goes to show how sensitive these people are really lmao
They literally have nothing else worth whining about
Any James Bond villain.
So billionaires paid fox news to have their anchors to tell them what they want to hear. This isn't even propaganda, it's just a therapy session.
Lots of dark Asians on far eastern television.
Movies just don't draw as large audiences when the villain doesn't have the budget to cause a spectacle. And, sure, giant monsters are cool. But we don't want to see innocent animals vilified just because of their size.
uhh... Batman/Bruce Wayne is a billionaire and probably the most well-known comic 'good guy...' Same with Tony Stark/Ironman
@Emerald Mara Um... I wasn't trying to construct an in-depth character psychoanalysis of comic book protagonists. The point is very basic. Cavuto claims the billionaire is always the villain in these stories. Both Batman and Ironman are very much the heroes, regardless of the deeper flaws that you've outlined in your thesis summary there.
Not exactly with Tony Stark, the character is often narcissist, god complex and doesn't think of the consequences. At times he can be a psychopath. He often doesn't think others as equal to him. Bruce Wayne was made entirely from tragedy, while he does play the aloof/playboy billionaire, in actuality he is a more serious character. He takes responsibility to the extreme, at times pushing away his allies. And so, he can often be seen as secretive and manipulative.
FOXNEWS should be off the air
How many poor people in comics are portrayed as heroes while being poor, aside from Spawn? Also, is Hollywood secretly trying to portray all environmentalist as Eco-terrorist with characters like Thanos, Poisen Ivy, Namor, Ocean Master, and Brother Nature? Is it true that Eco-Terrorism is at a near zero percent (in real-life) on the FBI terrorist list compared to other forms of Terrorism?
@Sean Holmes Hey, thanks back for the compliment! I think one of society’s biggest problems is that most people never experience life from any side of the fence that is far from their own. I see things much differently because I was raised in relative privilege, ended up on welfare as an adult because of treatment costs for a serious disease, was lucky to be able to “come back” for a brief but lucrative career, and ended up buying a penthouse condo overlooking my first welfare office and across the lake! Not bragging, it’s just my story of luck, blessings, and hard work that inform my unusual perspectives. I know nothing about the comics realms - Archie comics from the ‘70s don’t count! - but I really think it’s simply the easiest option for a movie studio (and comics universe creators) these days to villainize the poor because they’re the demographic with the least ability to invoke any backlash, not to even mention the likelihood of poor people feeling sufficiently empowered to take on the system that super-popular celebrities can’t even topple. I’m not sure that that’s any different from what you’re suggesting regarding characterization of the poor. I think they go hand-in-hand, so poor = damaged/disposable (somehow). Plus, it’s kind of the stereotyped American obsession with financial profits and keeping up with (beating?) the Joneses that’s being redirected into reinforcing the glorification of capitalism, but that’s a whole other level of analysis and dialogue. Sounds like you know a LOT about today’s world of comics and you’ve thought a lot about this. ✌️ 🙂
@WhatIfSchrodinger’sBoxWasACoffin? Thank you for the complement and your perspective on heroism being a non-selfish act to "make it through each day " verses a reflection on a person's social status. Some people in real life view "poor people" as morally imbalance, and I was wonder if this is why the comic books are filled with "rich super heroes" instead of a homeless super heroes. For example, some popular comic book rich heroes are DC's Green Arrow, Blue Beetle (aka: Ted Cord), and Batman or Marvel's Iron Man, Moon-knight, and Professor X. The only Hollywood movie about a powerless homeless hero I could find was a movie called Wild Thing, but it has no continuation or cult following.
I like your perspective on how poverty seems to preclude heroism, especially when it’s practically an act of heroism to make it through each day impoverished. ✌️
Millionaires, paid by billionaires, to lie to the rest of us.
Yoo sem might sam better watch out, the republicans will come after yosemite sam and bugs bunny next
Fox's News media supports billionaires ,millionaires and Corporations tearing our earth to pieces and killing every living l species with Corruption. It's all about greed and power. They also do human trafficking with Republicans and are not ashamed of it
Awww poor Billionaires 🥺
"Without giving any spoilers" "The villain isn't Godzilla or Kong. It's this guy named Walter Simmons." That didn't take long
If we just tax them out of existence, they'll cease to be billionaires. Then they won't feel so sad about how they are portrayed in movies.
This dude has obviously never seen a godzilla movie because godzilla is never the villain. Nor is Kong for that matter
Ummm.......the rich dude is always the villain. As the saying goes " follow the money and you'll find your man"
There is no such thing as a good billionaire. Although, I have heard they taste like chicken. Seriously though, the ultra-rich have horded away many TRILLIONS of dollars. If they were to put that money back into the economy 90% of the world would be able to live in a paid-for house.
@Kev lol.... and the bad guy billionaire Simmons in Godzilla v Kong is a real person? get with it my guy
@Prince of Mathematicians I think he is talking about real people
batman
Yet he’s not gratified with Tony Stark or Bruce Wayne?
Don’t tell this idiot about “Cyberdyne Systems” LOL
They should put him on Gutfeld. I mean, he made me laugh.
Fox News is the daily absorbed poison that continues to keep US people sick.
@Hunt1590 Propaganda, misinformation, and lies.
How ??
Who’s going to tell him about Batman v Superman???
These girls seem jealous of billionaires.
He should be crying about his suit.
He's proly the last person at fox that is capable of feeling. I mean, at least he's exhibiting some type of empathy. Lmao.
never heard of Lex Luthor
Bruce Wayne was a Billionaire. Hero. Also, not real.
Tony Stark, Bruce Wayne, T'Challa be like WTF?
Wait... I always thought that the rich guy was the real villain was a plot point in original King Kong. And that by the end you were supposed to feel sympathy for Kong having been taken away from his home and thrown into captivity.
Should've made the the villain Big Pharma and Israel
It is still people with a lot of money
The real villain of that movie is the studio that agreed to make it and show it to us. It was horrible.
I haven't seen the movie, but I bet that whatever the billionaire did, he wouldn't have been able to do if he wasn't a billionaire.
Since Trump's removal, FOX has NOTHING better to bitch about. So they pick on Mr. Potato Head, Dr. Suess and GODZILLA. If it wasn't so sad, it might be funny.
Fox crying is the mean bully child caught torturing small animals. Its not the act that he's sorry for, its that he won't be able to do it anymore.
I wish the Billionaires would stop buying the allegiance of political elites shifting the political agenda from benefiting the working class to supporting the Super Rich through tax cuts, regulatory roll backs and expanding rules of Corporate Governance. Taking Corporate money out of politics we could FINALLY have a nation that is "Of the people, by the people and for the people."
The real villain is that the movie was terrible
Is there literally no news to report on in the USA?
Movie implied death of large number of working and middle people dying during rampages by large creatures destroying boats, homes and buildings. Billionaires: But what about us?
If it were truthful, there would have also been a corrupt politician that was helping him by overturning environmental laws, constructing laws ensuring the killed employees families couldn't sue and helping a specific country own the rights to Hollow Earth's mined resources.
Fox news spoiling the movie lol
Batman & ironman are BOTH A MESS trust fund kids with PTSD , alcohol probs, hyper violence rage issues.
Remember Ghostbusters were the EPA were the bead guys?
The billionaire's have destroyed the middle class in all further agreed on 19 yacht stenhouse's stuff they could never use The real evil one is the rich 💀
Who the hell cares about a crappy sappy movie. Grow up and get a life you douche bag. Rich billionaires deserve millionaires wrath.
It is easier for a camel to get through the hole of the needle than for a billionaire to enter the kingdom of God.
I don't know why the billionaires are crying they have their trumpy bear to hold maybe they should buy some more. I mean every baby needs a trumpy bear. And I used to think teddy bears were for babies. I'd be wrong or am I right? Tumpers are babies. Sad so sad Love 😘
Once again , being afraid to face the truth , big money has always dictated the future , and I'm sorry but my bank account isn't deep enough to build a house loan , let alone a giant robotic monster , or just start a war , mich mcConnell has already answered this question , LoL , I'm just saying ,
Wipe your mouth there a bit Neil, you missed a bit
Is anyone else surprised to find out that Neil cavuto still has a show
Lol! What an idiot! It's a movie for crying out loud it's not real! 🤣🤣🤣I can't stop laughing at how pathetic it is!
"Why can't they just make an apolitical movie where Godzilla and King Kong team up to guard the Mexican border and protect women's restrooms from trans people?"
Billionaires have ALWAYS been portrayed as villains...BECAUSE THEY ARE VILLAINS.
There are literally thousands of movies portraying the rich as benevolent people. I hate those movies.
He knows the planet is being destroyed by the Richest man on earth for profits. Otherwise he wouldn't care about this
Yea the idea of a King Kong movie critiquing capitalism is just unfathomable
I had no idea Francesca was of Asian descent. Doesn't change anything, but always thought she was of Italian descent. Or maybe both????
Something republicans and democrats can both agree on is we love seeing Wall Street cry.
Fox News, cnn, msnbc, and the young Turks is nothing but propaganda. Think for yourself people. Don’t let these mainstream media outlets dictate your mind up for you.
@Kenneth Lee Yet, he hate commies.
So like me , you feel like the government should have given the American people the money that was given to the banks , when we the American people bailed them out , and by the way , I'm a me , just saying ,
@Kenneth Lee it’s pretty easy to figure out. Every tyt video is pointing out how stupid republicans are and Fox News does the same to liberals. They want us divided so we fight each other and not going after the people pulling the strings. Maybe you’ll figure it out someday. Concur and divide is there goal. At the end of the day we’re all Americans and I can honestly careless with which party you associate yourself with. The two party system was created to cause division. That’s why I don’t call myself a liberal or republican. I’m a American and so are you. We’re dealing with very tuff times atm and it’s important to me to try to bring unity and peace. Once people figure this out our country will be 100 times better. These people pulling the strings don’t care for us. Both republicans and democrats don’t give a shit about us. They pocket all of our tax money and laugh at us on their way to the bank. If all the money from this last stimulus check went into the hands of Americans it would be 14k a piece.
Your cup most be full at all times , Sooo , where did you get your crystal ball , or Witches Eye , to know all , with out hearing something from someone else , where and how do you gain all this knowledge of people doing stupid shit behind the backs of others , I've learned has much from the fox network as I did from any of the other news networks , I'm a 5by5 canned of person , I need to know it all before I open any screen door , I'm just saying ,
@I drink Commie tears what some of these politicians do behind closed doors? You mean like pervy gaetes and trump? Lol 🤣
Yes it’s not alive it’s just a movie but they do good details
Yes, let's over look that fact that every single billionaire unless got there by winning the lottery probably had to act in some vile way to become that billionaire.
Haven't seen the movie yet. I'm a life-long fan of TOHO, not for Japanese culture (back then & today re. women & racism..), I love Godzilla, Mothra, Ultraman, etc...the movies, the idea's over the decades.. just an escape I suppose
Cavuto should stick to Batman and shut up!!
What pisses me off is the Hollywood elites that never give welfare and homeless villians the representation they deserve!
In just about every comic book the wealthiest are the villains and the good guys, so they want to rewrite every comic book without the wealthy villains where would they get the monies to build a secret lair and ability to get weapons and goons to do their bidding?
Who could’ve been the alternative bad guy? No poor person could afford the evil thing the bad guy does in the movie. The influential people are rich so of course a lot of villains are rich a lot of the things villains do are really expensive
I haven’t seen the movie, but... I don’t think Ray Ray from the hood has the cash to make the world turn to shit, does he?.. Thats probably why billionaires make good villains, Caputo..
Hey I have a GREAT IDEA!! We'll return the Effective Tax Rate to what it was in the 1950s and 1960s. You know, because so many want a return to the "Good ol' days" BEFORE the Rich were as heavily demonized as they are today!
“I care.....about money.”
He would have Mae this a top 5 movie in his collection if it was BLM instead of a Billionaire. Im mad at a fake movie!!
Only someone secretly funding Mechagodzilla would get defensive
How easy is your life that these are your problems?
Billionaires have all the resources to make Hollywood movies celebrating their class. It wouldn't sell. Does Cavuto hate market capitalism?
It's not easy to write stories about a powerful supervillain with a tiny budget. Henchmen and space lasers aren't cheap.
When billionares start paying the same percentage of income in taxes as the average laborer I'll start feeling sorry for them.
Francesca and Anna. The two hottest females in news. I'm only here for them.
@Damani Grey I’m British so appreciate her accent as well haha
@Oli Parkinson oh yes she's nice too
I watch CNN purely for Julia Chatterley
The Godzilla movies themselves are a metaphor for America bombing the Japanese with nuclear weapons and an allegory for nuclear weapons themselves. 🤫 No one tell fox news 😂
Neil is a crybaby
Fox News seemed to conveniently forget about the other billionaires. Billionaires like Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark to just name a couple.
I'm sure he hates "It's a Wonderful Life"
I made under $20,000 last year but paid more income tax than Trump or Amazon
He is literally complaining about a fictional movie with monsters and who it’s villain is... I mean I was disappointed with the movie but not for that reason. Like do you think some random person is going to build a robot Godzilla in their garage? It’s going to take money. It’s apart of the story... what a dumb thing to complain about.
When do we get a movie where Kong steps on a billionaire?
Eric Johnson: Ìn the 1976 version of "King Kong" with Jessica Lange, there's a scene in Shea Stadium where Kong angrily and deliberately stomps hard on a wealthy oil executive who is screaming and cowering, literally drilling into the ground with nothing of him but his "bwana hat" visible when Kong lifts his foot.
Mechagodzilla eating his own billionaire creator worked just fine. Although, I wouldnt mind Kong getting in on the action too 🤣
What the hell are they crying about, this is nothing new. Imagine any bond film without a billionaire bad guy.
I have to admit, I would like a creative attempt at a villain who makes his trouble like an evil MacGyver. Two of my favorite villains are from the Marvel cinematic universe, Killmonger and The Vulture, because both didn't have unlimited funding, and both were actually trying to do the right thing, but in a bad way.
Stop watching as soon as Francesca joins. Still waiting to hear what her beef is with Canada, and thinking it's a third world country.
Too bad Godzilla didn’t roll right into Mar-a-lago when he attacked Florida.
Isn't Mar-a-lago where the fat assed lizard lives?
"it's going to disappear like a miracle. A giant lizard isn't anymore dangerous than a gecko. A lot of people are saying it. Soon the lizard numbers will be down to zero,it will disappear" Donald trump on the Godzilla attack on Florida!
Now that would have been something. Maybe they can do a scene like that for the next Godzilla movie. I once made up a scenario to fit the Trump Flotilla in Florida last year with one guy standing atop his yacht bearing his chest as a real "manly man" for Trump. In my scenario, the Mosasaur from, "Jurassic World" rose from the waves and plucked him from his yacht, dragging him underwater as a quick snack.
lol. Really?
FLINTHEART GLOMGOLD!
Didn't Cavuto whine about Red Eye having a Muslim character that wasn't the bad guy?
What a shill. Btw ladies, I love when yall do the two piece combo on stories. I love John and Cerk too and not to sound creeperish but yall look phenomenal everytime I see yall. Beautiful and intelligent women.
I can't wait until Cavuto sees Goldfinger and explains to us how Auric was the good guy all along, and how it is very unfair that the movie portrayed him as the villain. Seriously though, is Cavuto a moron? King Kong is the good guys in almost all of his movies, and Godzilla is usually chaotic neutral, he's rarely ever the bad guy. It's almost always the humans who are the real villains in these movies. Did he just figure this out now? How fricken old his Cavuto, three? I guess then somebody should also explain to him that Godzilla is a metaphor for America, so Cavuto should be happy Godzilla is not the bad guy.
Sorry that you are once again behind some more News. Cody johnston covered how drumpf was a literal archetype for corrupt businessmen in movies for decades. Even king koopa on that shitty super Mario movie with Dennis hopper as him modeled the character after drumpf.
Worst thing the billionaire is mexican 🤣🤣🤣
Why would a billionaire who lacks for no thing that money could buy, cry? I'm not a billionaire but I cried when all I could afford to feed my kids was oatmeal not sorry
Perhaps billionaires are so often the villain in movies because of their greed and the only reason they become that wealthy is by exploiting their workforce and paying them less than they’re worth. Just a thought 🤷
God forbid that there is a white male billionaire as a villain in a movie. Should all villains be poor, Asian, black or what? My god Cavuto, it is a movie!
You care never does any thing for any one
Love Francesca - she always works well with everyone but the Francesca/Anna combo is good :)
But God forbid a pro athlete gets super rich. They hate that.
They deserve it because they are entitled to it, it’s a birthright.....as they are entitled to respect from the rif-raf.
